Le Morne

Ganga Talao is a crater lake situated in a secluded mountain area in the district of Savanne, deep in the heart of Mauritius. It is about 1,800 feet above sea level.

Grand Bay / Grand Baie

Grand-Baie is a village in northern Mauritius. Its sandy beaches include secluded La Cuvette, and sailboat-dotted Grand-Baie Public Beach, in a sheltered cove. The popular Pereybere Public Beach is to the northeast. The village has restaurants and lively bars.
